We are working closely with carefully chosen friends and professionals for cooking and massages.

We can recommend you an excellent vegan and vegetarian chef, Lisa, living close to the center. With her enterprise deLisa pure food she has years of experience in cooking for retreat groups and is also teaching chefs from all over the world in plant-based cuisine. She is more than happy to offer you her service suited to your requirements.

How to get there?

The nearest Airport is Faro (FAO) which is about a 65 minutes’ drive by car. The other but further option would be Lisbon (LIS) which is a 2,5 hour drive.

You can get good flight tickets from many destination to Faro r Lissabon. For the cheapest tickets please check momondo.com or skyscanner.com.

In case you are not renting a car, you have the possibility to book an airport shuttle. From Lissabon there is a good connection by train or bus to Portimão. From there it’s about 25 Minutes to the Bhavan by taxi or shuttle.

How to reserve the place?

Please send us a message via email or via the contact form at the bottom of this page with preferred dates. We will check availability and come back to you. As soon as the dates are aligned, we will provide you a reservation confirmation letter which needs to be signed from both sides.

Payment and cancellation conditions/policies?

Six weeks before your arrival date a deposit needs to be paid. The details of the deposit and the bank account information are part of the reservation letter. In case the deposit is not paid in time the place can be rented to someone else.

If you need to cancel your reservation, please send us an e-mail. Up to 6 weeks before the arrival date we charge 50% of the total amount. Up to 4 weeks before the arrival date we charge the full amount (100%).

Please be aware that these are start up conditions which will be adjusted in 2020.

Minimum amount of participants?

The minimum amount required are two rooms rented category A and two rooms rented category B. The prices per room differs in terms of period and category. Please see the price chart in the download area.

Below the above-mentioned amount different prices need to be discussed. We are always open to support start up’s. Just get in touch with us.

All the prices are calculated for a stay of 7 nights (Sunday to Sunday). In case you wish to rent in a different rental pattern on costs need to be discussed.

Please also be aware that those are special start up prices for 2019. They will be adjusted as well as the rental periods.

What are the check out and check in times?

Check in is on Sunday afternoon at 16:30 (4.30pm) and check out on the following Sunday morning at 10:30 (10.30am). Different arrangements in terms of days and times can be requested and arranged if renting schedule allows it to.

Do the rooms differ from each other?

Each of the room is different. Even though we tried to keep the same line every room has it´s different shape, windows and size. From an equipment perspective they are kept similar. Each of them has really good matrasses with topper.

The difference between category A and B is based on different aspects. Two rooms of category A are slightly bigger than all the others. The other two rooms of category A have either a big window with nice view direction Monchique or a small private terrace with value view.

Four of the rooms are accessible via the main house and 4 have a separate entrance from outside which therefor have more privacy.

Is the teacher staying for free?

To make the yoga shala free of charge we ask for the teacher 50% of the regular price for a room. If the teacher would like to stay for free, the house has to be fully booked or he/she can stay in beautiful bell tent. It is nicely equipped with the same matrasses of the house for 2 persons. One looks down on the tent from the house on a separate terrace. From there you have a beautiful view to Monchique. Close to the pool area are showers and toilets. The tent is free of charge.

Is there any support for marketing?

With your reservation we can also provide you with a Dropbox link where you find different pictures. You are allowed to use them for your own marketing purposes. We can also provide you the text version of our image brochure.

We could also support you with a news feed on our website. For this you need to provide text and pictures. This news can also be shared on our Facebook page.

Are you offering food?

We are working with a really good and lovely chef – de Lisa pure food. Please contact her her directly and she will make you an offer according to your needs.

What about house cleaning, bed sheets and towls?

The house and studio will be handed over fully cleaned. Bed sheets and towels will be on each of the beds. Final cleaning at the end of your stay is also included.

If you wish in between cleaning and towel change we can arranged this. Extra costs will be charged. If you are interested in such a service please let us know.

Are you offering massage or other treatments?

We have some beautiful souls around which are most happy to support with different massage practices or other treatments. If requested we will bring you in contact with them.

Are you offering airport shuttle?

So far we are not offering any shuttle services. We have different service companies knowing our place. We can provide the contact details and we can help you find the best option.
