The refreshment of the water together with the stunning views over the area makes the pool a very good place for the body to rest and for the mind to expand.
While the lower part of the land is kept for the food forest, as well as vegetable gardens and wild nature, the upper half of the land opens through the pool area.
The pool is located above the house on one of the beautiful natural terraces. From there you have an amazing view towards Monchique and the west coast. Embedded in a beautiful chill out area with palms, sunbeds, and shadow places the pool area invites you for a longer rest. With the size of 4 by 15 Meters it is possible to make a real swim or as well to play around.
The water is coming directly from the inner water source of Picota and is refreshing the body and mind at all seasons. It is the same quality of water that made Monchique famous already for the Romains. We keep the water clean for swimming with salt and the pool is being taken care of 1-2 times a week from our professional pool caretaker.
